Victorian Floor Restoration West Bridgford

Just a few new photos, this time from a West Bridgford Nottingham restoration. We’ve literally finished this floor this afternoon. First impression of the original floor were a little misleading.
The previous owners had taken it upon themselves to coat the floor in a horrible floor varnish, probably Wickes floor varnish for wood. Naturally this had discoloured badly and been dragged into the pores of the tile body which over time has become pretty porous.
After we removed what was left of the varnish from hell, we then deep cleaned the tiles to remove as much dirt and staining as humanly possible. The floor was finished with a nice satin sheen.
